What is Hydro-Graphics?
Hydro-graphics, water transfer printing, & film dipping are all common names for this process.
Ink patterns are printed onto a water soluble film, then floated on the water's surface. The film dissolves and an activation solution is applied. The parts, having been properly prepared, are immersed into the water. The surface tension & pressure wrap the floating ink pattern to adhere the the surface of the part. The part is then expelled of any remaining residue, inspected, and a protective clear coating is applied.
The results will add a distinctive look & value to just about anything that is non-porous and can be submersed in water.

How durable is Hydro-Graphic Printing?
Our Hydro-Dipping or Water Transfer Printing Process is very durable !! We use only the highest grade materials. After all items are printed they receive a clear coat finish in either high gloss, matte, or soft touch finishes.
